As I mentioned at the beginning of this storyline, the idea for 'World Gone Mad' began when I was a just a kid. I was inspired by the big epic event storylines in the mainstream comics of the time. The idea stuck w/me through the years & I spent a lot of time thinking about it. I wanted it to feature a large cast of characters going through lots of twists & turns w/reality itself at stake. Now, half a year since World Gone Mad finally became a reality through this Boogieland comic strip storyline, it has reached its conclusion. Another childhood dream has come true for me & I couldn't be happier w/how it all turned out. It's a great feeling to have finally completed something I dreamed about for so long. It was amazing to be able to include my childhood hero, Jimmy Valiant as a big part of the story. It's fitting that the storyline ended at exacty 52 strips because to me that represents the 52 weeks every year that Boogie's Wrestling Camp is open to the public. Every Sunday from 12 noon to 4pm. The Camp is a very special place & has truly changed my life for the better thanks to Boogie, Angel & my BWC Family. I'm very thankful to all the BWC Family members who appeared as characters in this story. A big thanks also to Dale Martin for allowing me to include his characters Rocket Rockne & Watusi! It was also cool to be able to include a bunch of the characters I came up w/as a young child doodling at home or on Grandma's dining room table. It was an honor to be able to share this dream project w/you, the faithful Boogieland comic strip readers! I hope you enjoyed the wild ride! Thank you for always being there & I hope you will continue to stop by this site every Monday & Thursday for the continuing Boogieland adventures! See you this Thursday for the start of another great story! & don't forget to visit to the real Boogieland in person this Sunday or any Sunday, from 12 noon to 4pm. Admission is free! I highly recommend it! Click HERE for more info. Thanks for reading! Take care!

Congratulations on your World Gone Mad strip! I've enjoyed reading it. Thanks for including my crazy clock! I'm so sorry it caused such trouble. :) Love you.

Thanks Mom! You've been there since the beginning when I first had the idea! Glad you were able to watch it come to life w/me! & thanks for the inspiration for the cause of the Madness. When I got in your car that day & your clock was both fast & slow at the same time I just had to use the idea for this storyline. I'm sure in reality that kind of thing happens all the time w/clocks, but it just struck me as funny & it seemed like a great way to explain the origin of the Madness! Thanks for everything! Love you too!

Congrats on this storyline, Brien! It was really a lot of fun, and had so many twists and turns that it never seemed to be drawn out-- I can't believe it started six months ago! Thanks for including my characters as cameo participants (such a treat) and I really liked how you integrated your childhood creations (and even drawings) in a way that felt really natural. Looking forward to whatever you have in store for us next!
