The new year is almost here, but Douglas & I were still celebrating Christmas today, as we went to see Nutcracker and the Four Realms in the theater. I had previously seen the previews, which looked really good, & the movie certainly didn't disappoint! I'm looking forward to seeing Boogie today at County Line Mini-Mall & Cafe in Lynchburg, VA & you can too! He will be there from 8am-3pm along w/Capt. Joe & Woody V! Be sure to stop by & say hi! Hard to believe 2018 is almost through, but that just means we are on the verge of a new year filled w/excitement, hope & promise. I hope your new year will be a wonderful blessing filled w/fun & accomplishment! I'm pleased to announce that I will continue the daily strips through the end of this New Year's special which ends on New Year's Day. After that, the plan is to go back to Mon. & Thurs., but who knows? Anything can happen in a new year I guess! Wow! In the midst of this Christmas season & Christmas storyline, here we are at the milestone 900th Boogieland or Bust comic strip! Before I ever published the first ever Boogieland comic strip several Christmas seasons ago, I made sure I had over 100 strips written so I'd have a full year backlog before I ever started the Mon. & Thurs. comic strip series. Interestingly enough, instead of starting w/the strips I already had, I ended up writing a new Christmas storyline to start the series. Then I kept writing new stories from there & have yet to use a single strip from that orig 100+ strip backlog. So I guess, technically I can say I have now written over 1,000 Boogieland strips. But I've only published 900, so that means this is the final 100 strip countdown to the official 1,000th published Boogieland strip! I hope you'll be w/me reading all along the way! Thank you so much to anyone who has taken the time to read even one of the strips!
