NRV Con Report 2018: Had a blast again this year at NRV Con in Blacksburg, VA! It's always nice seeing our NRV Con family as we spend the day celebrating comics, pop-culture, video games, etc. The show started of in a special way as a family friend, Patsy, who lives nearby, stopped in briefly just to say hello! Saw some incredible costumes as always, but I think my favorite this year was Mary & Bert from Mary Poppins! Saw some of our dear BWC Family members as well, which is always awesome! Almost missed our friend Allen Grey Bain, but thankfully caught up w/him right before we left in the parking lot. He stopped by the con on the way to taking his sweet ride to a nearby car show. Didn't do quite as much shopping as I usually do as our table was hopping most of the day, but I am now the proud owner of a Flippy #2 comic by BWC's own Spectacular Stache! It was a pleasure as always to see longtime BWC neighbor & friend Tom Angleberger who traded one of his super cool origami Star Wars books to Lil' M in exchange for his new Infiniti Doors mini comic which debuted at the show. Thank you so much to the entire NRVCon team for putting on such a wonderful comic show & for having us as guests. Hope to do it again next year!
