Well, I have to say, it's hard to believe it's almost 2015! My family & I had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas together. Douglas & I both got some cool wrestling related items & comic book stuff. As you would imagine, some of my favorite gifts were Jimmy Valiant related! Merry Christmas! I am writing this as Christmas Day is only a few hours old. Santa stopped by while I was working on this comic strip. He didn't say anything, he just went about his work. A couple times while he was arranging Douglas' presents I went & nodded to Santa & when he nodded back he flew up the chimney! I thought it was funny. He didn't laugh. I've included a staged picture below to recreate what it would have looked like for Lil' MM to finally get his Megatron JG action figure. Of course in reality it is a King Kong Bundy figure, but I figured it was close enough if we use our imagination. Hopefully one day Megatron JG & lots of other BWC Graduates will have their very own action figures. That would be awesome! Thanks Megatron JG for being a part of this storyline! Every Sunday at BWC is special, but yesterday was extra special! It was certainly looking (& tasting) a lot like Christmas w/Angel & Angela's annual Christmas candy! Even Santa & Mrs. Claus showed up to partake in the tasty, festive treats! Thanks so much to Angel & Angela & everyone who brought in some Christmas goodies to share! Yesterday's camp also featured former WWE Superstar Mantaur aka Mike Halac who is also a former USWA Unified World Champion! He was at camp w/a film crew to shoot a new movie & everyone in attendance had a chance to be an extra in the film. Halac gave pointers to the students as they trained & gave an amazing, emotional, motivational speech to the BWC Family. Douglas & I had a blast being a part of it all! We bought a zoo! Well, actually, it was just a puppy, but it already feels like a zoo sometimes! Seriously though, Douglas is enjoying his early Christmas present & so are his mom & me. Douglas got the naming honors & continued a long standing theme of poetry related names by calling our new little girl Poe. We are happy to have her in our lives! Welcome to the family Poe! Meanwhile, in Boogieland, Lil' MM might be in danger of not getting any presents, or at least not the one he really wants! Let's hope MM can think of something! Taking a step or two back holiday wise, Douglas & I were excited to find out that he had won a $100 shopping spree at our local comic shop through the Greatest Halloween Costume Contest Ever this past Halloween as part of the annual Halloween Comic Fest event. Talk about Christmas coming early! He got a bunch of cool stuff that we both will enjoy & he was even generous enough to let me spend $5 of his winnings on whatever I wanted! Thanks Douglas!
