Well, I'm back online! After a few days w/my computer down, my internet access is back up & running just in time to wrap up the Time & Time Again storyline. Special thanks again to my Mom for making sure the comic strip was published while I was having my technical difficulties! Well, here I am at the public library typing this because my computer is currently not operational. Hopefully I will back online at home soon, but for now, I'm thankful to the library for internet service & especially thankful to my Mom, Faye, who went through a lot of hard work to piece today's comic strip together today on her computer from my instructions. It's a busy day for me today. I got to serve as playground monitor at my son Douglas' school today, followed by reading to his class. Then it's off to work all night. I should probably give Boogie some writing credit on today's comic strip. Much of what his character says in this strip was taken directly from things he has said in past interviews. At least how I remember them anyway. I actually try to use little Boogieisms in all of the storylines. In fact, I've come up w/some entire storylines based on one or two lines that Boogie said once. I'm certainly thankful to have a wealth of Boogie interviews to choose from! Be back this Monday to see what Boogie says (& does) next! It is a cold, rainy day in my neck of the woods. It's a great day to take a nap, if you can, & I'm fortunate enough to be able to do just that as soon as I finish posting today's strip. My son Douglas got his first toy drum kit for Christmas from his Grandma Joanne when he was like two or three. He went through a couple more toy kits after that before eventually graduating to real drum kits. He's nine now & he still loves banging on those drums! It usually sounds pretty good to me, but we finally decided he should take some lessons if he was going to be serious about his drumming. He had his first official drum lesson yesterday & he did a great job! He seemed to like it, so we'll see how it goes! 70s Handsome Jimmy seems to be good at drumming up trouble since arriving in Boogieland! Be back this Monday to see what happens next! Don't miss it!
