I am very proud of him! Thanks Douglas for the wonderful picture! It really adds a lot to today's comic strip & makes it extra special! Great job, son! The only problem now is Boogie has to find a way to fight this frightening thing! Be back this Mon., July 1st to see how that goes! Wait, did I really say July 1st? Wow, where has the year gone?! I highly recommend a visit to the real Boogieland in person this Sunday or any Sunday, from 12 noon to 4pm. Admission is free! Click HERE for more info. Thanks for reading! Take care!
GUEST ARTIST ALERT! I'm proud to announce that today's strip features our first ever guest artist! My son Douglas drew an awesome picture of a creature that he called a 'shake' & I liked the drawing so much, I decided to incorporate it into the Boogieland comic. The current Planet James storyline lent itself perfectly for this, as I knew the gladiator scene was coming up & I knew there needed to be a big, scary monster for Boogie to fight. Douglas' great drawing fits in perfectly as the double-sized fifth panel of this very strip! I also included the original picture below, complete w/the title & the artist's signature. Douglas loves to draw & he is super creative!

It was so nice to see such a good turnout at camp yesterday for the special filming! I had a blast as always! I hope the film crew got all the footage they needed & I hope the project will be a complete success! Speaking of success, I hope James Gregory's plan is a success or he & Boogie could be in a world of trouble! Be back this Thursday, June 27th to see what happens next in the Planet James storyline! You won't want to miss it! I highly recommend a visit to the real Boogieland in person this Sunday or any Sunday, from 12 noon to 4pm. Admission is free! Click HERE for more info. Thanks for reading! Meanwhile, on Planet James, Boogie has found what he was looking for, but he's also found himself in a very tough spot! I had a wonderful day yesterday spending time w/my son Douglas, my niece Lacey & my BWC Family at camp for Father's Day. I hope all the fathers reading this also had a nice Father's Day. I'm very proud of my son Douglas & blessed to be his daddy! Today's comic strip takes place far away from camp, but it does feature BWC Graduate James 'Megatron' Gregory & of course, Boogie Woogie himself! Be back this Thursday, June 20th to see what happens when these two warriors are forced to clash in a gladiator battle to the death! I highly recommend a visit to the real Boogieland in person this Sunday or any Sunday, from 12 noon to 4pm. Admission is free! Click HERE for more info. Thanks for reading! Take care!
Well, Jimmy Valiant hasn't found James Gregory yet, but he has found a whole lot of trouble on Planet James! Did Megatron even go to Planet James in the first place? Will Boogie's quest to find his friend end in death? Keep reading every Monday & Thursday to find out as the Planet James storyline continues! I highly recommend a visit to the real Boogieland in person this Sunday or any Sunday, from 12 noon to 4pm. Admission is free! Click HERE for more info. Thanks for reading! Take care!
I had a great time at the big Heroes Con comic show this year as always. This was my 19th year attending Heroes & it was great seeing old friends, meeting new ones & buying some cool comics & stuff! I also handed out some Boogieland comics & business cards to spread the word about this comic strip & BWC. Can't wait until my big 20th year of Heroes fun next year! If you are here for the first time because of Heroes Con then welcome to the site. Please come back every Monday & Thursday for another exciting installment in the ongoing Boogieland saga! I highly recommend a visit to the real Boogieland in person this Sunday or any Sunday, from 12 noon to 4pm. Admission is free! Click HERE for more info. Thanks for reading! Take care!
I was very impressed w/the level of professionalism displayed last night in Wise, VA. The rain was pouring & the thunder was rolling & streaks of lightning were periodically lighting up the sky. The crowd deserved the exciting wrestling action they had gathered for & that's exactly what they got as match after rain-soaked match was contested in the squared, drenched circle. All of the wrestlers went above & beyond to make sure the show went on. I was most impressed w/the main event in which Jimmy Valiant & Ricky Morton clashed w/George South & Stan Lee as the rain poured & the sky roared. It was amazing to see the four ring veterans do battle as though there wasn't a cloud in the sky. I was honored to witness four ring giants get the victory over the hazardous elements, but the most impressive thing might have been the fact that to them, this was just business as usual. I would have taken my hat of to them, but I was scared of getting wet! Have a wonderful weekend, stay dry & be back this Monday for another exciting Boogieland or Bust comic strip! I highly recommend a visit to the real Boogieland in person this Sunday or any Sunday, from 12 noon to 4pm. Admission is free! Click HERE for more info. Thanks for reading! Take care!
Summertime is here! My son Douglas is now officially out of school! The days are longer, which means more time to enjoy the great outdoors w/my family! Life is good! Unfortunately for James 'Megatron' Gregory, he can't enjoy the summer fun on Earth because he has been banished to outer space. Whatever planet he may be on, I hope they have cookouts & beach volleyball! One fun thing to do this summer would be to visit to the real Boogieland in person this Sunday or any Sunday, from 12 noon to 4pm. Admission is free! Click HERE for more info. Thanks for reading! Take care!
