 For my birthday this year my wife, Gala & son, Douglas got me tickets to a WWE show in Roanoke, VA. Yesterday was finally the big day of the show & it was an absolutely awesome experience! The WWE certainly knows how to entertain a crowd! It was only my second ever WWE live show, but more importantly it was the first for my wife & son, so it was extra special to be able to share that w/them. Not to take away anything at all from the high production value or the extreme talent of the WWE Superstars performing at the highest level of their profession, but I really feel like you can have just as much fun at a good local independent pro wrestling show. It's encouraging to see decent turnouts for the recent independent shows that I've been to. If you are a wrestling fan, but you only got to WWE shows, I would highly recommend taking a chance on the next independent wrestling show that comes to your town! Well, that's it for the Black Friday special. I actually did a little Black Friday shopping & got some good deals, but I waited until Friday night when the crowds had all gone.  What a wonderful Thanksgiving Day yesterday! It was an amazing, beautiful day filled w/so much to be thankful for! I'm so thankful for my wife & son, for my whole family, for all my friends & of course for my dear friends Boogie & Angel & everyone at BWC! I'm thankful to do this comic strip every Mon. & Thurs. & in this special case, Friday, for the first ever Boogieland Black Friday Special! I have mixed feelings about Black Friday personally, but I do certainly love Christmas & the entire Christmas season. Boogieland or Bust! #731 - Boogie Man & The 9 Bears! (A Grizzly Adams Thanksgiving), pt. 111/5/2017  My family & I had a blast at our annual family Halloween Party yesterday. The party also doubles as my birthday party since my big day is coming up in less than two weeks. Thanks Mom, for hosting the event, for the amazing chili & other delicious goodies & for the cool birthday presents! Can't wait until next year! Now that Halloween is done, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go. Especially in the stores. I personally love Christmas & I can't wait, but I also love Thanksgiving, so I'm currently focusing on that for my holiday anticipation & for my current Boogieland storyline.  So I have an update from the other day re: my The Jimmy Valiants fantasy football team. I'm pleased to announce that they were indeed victorious this week, which brings my record to 5-3. Not too bad. Hopefully it will only be up from here w/lots of Fantasy Ws! I'll keep you posted. I hope you enjoyed today's one shot story featuring the Norse god of thunder, Thor!
