No new Fantasy Football news to report since the Pro Bowl is this week & doesn't count toward the Playoff Challenge. My The Jimmy Valiants fantasy football team will remain in 7th place in my league of 105 people until after next Sunday's Super Bowl. Then fantasy football will be over until next football season. I'm happy that my favorite NFL team, the Broncos, had six representatives in the AFC's Pro Bowl victory over the NFC. Way to go guys! I'll like to start out by saying a very Happy Birthday to my niece, Lacey, who turns nineteen today! I'm always amazed by how fast the time goes. I hope it's a wonderful day for you, Lacey! Enjoy your day! We love you! The fantasy football league I'm in has grown to 105 teams since my last update. I'm happy to announce that my The Jimmy Valiants team is currently ranked 7th out of 105 teams! I'm pretty happy to be in the top ten w/one week remaining. Not sure where I'll end up after the big game, but I'll be sure to report here to let you know how my Boogie inspired team finished! If I had to sum up last night's Twenty One Pilots concert in one word it would be WOW! Yes, all caps! I had seen plenty of footage of the band live over the years, so my expectations were very high, but they were still exceeded by the amazing show put on by Tyler & Josh! Incredibly fun & entertaining! If TOP comes to your area anytime on this tour I highly recommend checking them out! I had a blast at the show w/my wife, Gala & our son, Douglas. Our whole family loves Twenty One Pilots, but it was Douglas who really got us all into them. They are awesome performers! It didn't even bother me that we saw them at the John Something Something arena in Charlottesville, VA! Hopefully all you Boogie fans out there will get my little joke about the venue which is otherwise a really great place to see a live show or sporting event! Exciting news on the Fantasy Football front. When I posted the weekly Fantasy rankings on Monday I didn't realize the totals from Sunday's late game hadn't been accounted for yet. So it turns out that my The Jimmy Valiants team is currently ranked twentieth in my league of 99 teams. Not bad at all! Two weeks left to see where I end up, but I'm happy to be near the top for now. Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! It's time again for a Fantasy Football report! My The Jimmy Valiants team moved up from 46th to 41st in my Playoff Challenge league. & instead of 90 people in the league like last week, 8 more teams have joined making me 41st out of 98 teams. Still not setting the world on fire, but definitely above average so far, so I'll take it! I had a great time last night at the Pure Pro Wrestling show in Montvale, VA. It's always awesome seeing Jimmy Valiant do his thing in the ring & last night was certainly no exception! I've seen Boogie wrestle live over 20 times now, but never against his hated enemies the Assassins. It was extra special for me to see wrestling history made before my very eyes as another page was added to their storied rivalry! The other matches were all top-notch as well. I can't wait to go to another outstanding Pure Pro super card! Be back this Thursday as the 'All You Can't Eat' storyline continues! Thanks for reading! It's an exciting upcoming weekend for Boogie fans as you will have not one, not two, but three chances to see the Boogie Woogie Man himself in person! This Fri. Boogie will be wrestling at C.C. Griffin Middle School in Concord, NC, bell time 7:30pm. On Sat. you can catch Boogie at Montvale Recreation Center in Montvale, VA w/a bell time of 7:30pm. & of course on Sun. from Noon to 4pm admission is free to Boogie's Wrestling Camp in Shawsville, VA. Come on out & spend the day w/Boogie, Angel, the BWC Family & a very special guest this week, Power Pro Wrestling's Handsome Jimi Love! So far so good for my The Jimmy Valiants fantasy football team. I am in a league of 90 people for the Playoff Challenge & my rank after week one is 46th. Not too great, but not horrible either. I'm pretty much right in the middle of the pack. So hopefully next week I will make a big jump up. We'll see. I hope you are having a nice new year so far & keeping all your resolutions! The Jimmy Valiants are back baby! I know the regular Fantasy Football season is over, but thankfully for me & my The Jimmy Valiants fantsy football team, there is another playoff specific fantasy football league just starting! It's quite different from the set up of the regular fantasy leaugue, but it should be a lot of fun. Myt son, Douglas has a team also, so we'll see how we do. I'll keep you posted!
