It's hard to beleive that another BWC Graduation is right around the corner! But that's exactly what's about to happen! On Sunday, Sept. 9th from 12 Noon to 4pm we will have the celebration that you won't want to miss! Come be a part of wrestling history as these future pro wrestling stars complete their training by walking the aisle to the BWC ring to receive their degree & a hug from Boogie & Angel! Happy 13th Birthday yesterday to my son, Douglas! It's crazy to think my little boy is now a big teenager! It's been an awesome 13 years! I'm so proud of my boy & the young man he's becoming! I'm looking forward to seeing where he goes from here. I had a wonderful time celebrating your birthday yesterday Douglas! Happy Birthday! When I was somewhere around the age that Douglas is now, a brand new team exploded onto the wrestling scene that was unlike anything I had seen before. Chris Champion & Sean Royal combined to form one of my favorite tag teams of all time, the New Breed! I never cheered for the bad guy, but I couldn't help but be entertained by this unique, talented high flying creative & charismatic team. So it was a thrill & an honor to finally meet Chris Champion earlier this year in Nashville, TN. I'm so glad I got the chance. That is a memory I will cherish forever. RIP Chris Champion. This year's Eastmont Tomato Festival in Shawsville, VA was a blast! The weather wasn't the best for an outdoor event, but the show must go on & the Tomato Festival was a great success despite the rainy weather! One of the highlights for me was the delicious corn on the cob, but the best part of course was spending time w/my BWC Family. Congrats to Jimmy Valiant for being crowned this year's Tomato Heirloom King! Thanks so much to everyone who organized & volunteered at the event! Your great efforts are appreciated! Yesterday was my son Douglas' first day of 7th grade! He will be a teenager in a week! Where does the time go? Oh well, it has been & continues to be an awesome adventure every step of the way! I had a total blast w/a group of work friends on a road trip to the WWE show in Roanoke, VA yesterday! It was a wonderful trip from beginning to end & I'd love to do it again sometime soon! I really need to get them all to camp sometime! That would be super awesome! It was great seeing my BWC brother Corey at the WWE event. Happy Birthday to one of the coolest, nicest, most caring & giving people I know, my dear friend, Jimmy Valiant! It was so nice celebrating Boogie & Angel's birthdays at camp yesterday & it was wonderful to see so many of the BWC Family members come out to show their love, respect & support for the BWC founders! It was also nice to welcome photographer Jared Soares back to BWC & to meet the entire film crew he brought w/him. What a fun, exciting day! Just like every week at BWC, you never know quite what to expect but you can count on a fun time & a wonderful experience! I hope to see you there some Sunday soon! The Boogie Woogie Birthday Bash at BWC is this Sunday! There will be cake & wrestling action as the students train & plenty to see in the Hall of Fame Museum & all the camp buildings!
