BWC GRADUATE ADAM PAGE IS THE NEW AEW WORLD CHAMPION!
‘Hangman’ Adam Page captured the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) World Championship on Saturday night as he defeated Kenny Omega at the Full Gear Pay Per View in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The BWC family is very proud of Adam and wish him a long and successful title reign. Congratulations Adam! BWC4LIFE!!!

WRESTLE MASSACRE SET FOR NATIONAL RELEASE ON JUNE 16TH
Wrestle Massacre, an independent horror film set in the pro wrestling world, will have a national release on June 16 & will be avail through Amazon VOD DVD & through Walmart. Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Legend Jimmy Valiant, it has been revealed, is the first-confirmed guest for next summer's Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Legends Fanfest in Charlotte, North Carolina August 4-7. Included in today's announcement is the news that, in addition to signing autographs and taking photos with fans, the "Boogie Woogie Man" will also take part in a VIP-only question-and-answer session. More importantly, Valiant will be recognized for a lifetime dedicated to professional wrestling. WWE Hall Of Famer Animal (Big Joe Laurinaitis one-half of the world famous Road Warriors) will be at Boogie’s Wrestling Camp Hall of Fame Museum 2916 Alleghany Springs Road Shawsville VA 24162 on Sunday November 15, 2015 from 12 till 4 p.m. Along with his manager, Paul Ellering, and street brother Hawk (Michael Hegstrand) they formed the world famous tag team, the Legion Of Doom. Gifted film maker, Derek Young, will also be at BWC this Sunday to shoot parts of his upcoming movie at our camp location, which will include a scene or two with yours truly, The Boogie Man, & Animal. If you can attend who knows you may even end up in Derek’s movie as an extra. Attention BWC students and alumni. Please plan to attend this Saturday April 25, 2015 our annual Vinton Dogwood Parade. Let's all meet at 1:30 at the War Memorial in Vinton, VA. Directions from Bedford and Lynchburg...travel U.S. 460 West into Roanoke. ..take left onto Gus W Nicks Blvd in the same manner. There will be a Hardee's restaurant on the corner where you turn left. Step off time is at 2:30..we will be given our spot in the lineup upon arrival. Wear your gear or a BWC shirt. Janice will provide cold water for the students. Parking is very limited so arrive early enough to find a spot. Some roads may be closed or blocked if you arrive later than 2 pm. There is a Super Dollar grocery store a few blocks up the street from the meeting site. Parking and getting to the meeting site will be up to you. Sunday, June 23rd starting at 12 noon, Boogie’s Wrestling Camp Hall of Fame Museum, 2916 Alleghany Springs Road, Shawsville, VA 24162, will be filming a segment for a possible reality show called “Camp Boogie.” We need all current and past students, instructors, referees, valets, managers, etc. to be here at 12 noon for the big shoot. FILMING FOR A NEW COX TV SHOW

This Sunday, July 1, 2012, please come at 12 noon to Boogie’s Wrestling Camp Hall of Fame Museum, 2916 Alleghany Springs Road, Shawsville, VA 24162 for the filming of a new comedy Cox TV show called Deet & the Geek. Featured extras and screaming fans needed to sit ringside. Be a part of a new and exciting show to be aired throughout the entire state of VA; DC, Richmond, Roanoke, VA Beach Tide water area on Cox channel 9, 11 and possibly channel 7. Producer, Hans Moore, will arrive at BWC with his camera crew at 3 o’clock to start setting up. From 4- 5:30, when camp is over, Hans will do his filming.

Boogie’s Wrestling Camp Hall of Fame Museum has been operating 20 years strong. BWC was founded in 1992 by Handsome Jimmy “The Boogie Woogie Man” Valiant and his wife, Angel. Boogie was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1996 and has nearly 50 years of pro wrestling knowledge. If you are interested in a one-on-one crash course you can come to Boogie’s Wrestling Camp 2916 Alleghany Springs Road Shawsville, VA 24162. Spend seven straight days here at BWC no matter what level you are at, beginners, intermediate, or advanced are all welcome. There are plenty of nice hotels close by BWC for your week’s stay. The clinic will start at BWC on any given Monday and continue through Friday from 12 noon till 4 p.m. Saturday will be spent on the road with Boogie wherever he’s booked. Sunday, the last day, you'll work out with the Boogie’s Wrestling Camp students from 12 till 4 p.m. The total price is $1,200 for the one week pro wrestling clinic. PRIVATE JIM NELSON AKA BORIS ZHUKOV
APPEARING AT BWC, MAY 6TH, 2012
Please come on Sunday May 6, 2012 at 12 noon to Boogie’s Wrestling Camp 2916 Alleghany Springs Road Shawsville, VA 24162. There will be two wrestling superstars appearing. Unfortunately, Bill Dundee was scheduled to appear for the Q&A, but as luck would have it he ran off and joined the Cole Bros. Circus and won’t be able to be here. Dundee will be in Crownsville, MD getting shot out of a cannon that day. HA! Now appearing May 6th at BWC will be Private Jim Nelson a.k.a. Boris Zhukov. A young Jim Nelson, along with Don Kernodle, teamed up to be in Sergeant Slaughter’s Army for the NWA in 1983. Later, Jim Nelson became the Russian grappler Boris Zhukov in the AWA in 1987. In the late 80s he teamed with Nikolai Volkoff for a big run in the WWE. Eclipso, a 35 year veteran of the squared circle, was the man who helped Boris Zhukov get started in professional wrestling as a teenager. The Great Eclipso has been a mainstay in the Mid-Atlantic region for the past three decades working in packed-house main events. He also founded American Championship Wrestling. I’m proud to have worked for the ACW for the past 20 years. Admission to this special Q&A on Sunday May 6, 2012 at 12 noon will be free of charge.
