Boogieland or Bust! #1111 - Strange Things Are Afoot At BWC, pt. 7 (Nosfalalatu Strikes! Prologue)12/9/2019 (& A Partridge In A Pear Tree!) Well, this is the end, beautiful friends. But it is also the beginning at the same time. That was the very last new Boogieland or Bust comic strip. But now, the story will continue forever. Today's strip leads seamlessly right into the first ever Boogieland or Bust comic strip #1 published exactly 9 years ago. So you can read from there all the way through to #1111 where it comes back here & starts all over again. Over & over in an infinite loop of fun & excitement that truly never ends! Every strip is still avail. online so read at your own pace as often as you like! Happy 9 year anniversary to the Boogieland comic strip by the way. It has been a real honor & an accomplishment I'm very proud of & happy w/. I'm very thankful that I got the chance to do this strip starring my all-time favorite wrestler & my BWC family. Thank you so much to Boogie & Angel for the opportunity & for all that you have done for me & all of the Boogieland family. It's a pleasure & an honor to know you & call you my friend. Thank you so much to my mom, Faye, for reading every single strip & for all the comments & the help along the way. I'm proud to say that I never once missed a deadline every Mon. & Thurs. & every other day that a strip was supposed to come out when I was doing a special schedule. Every single one was posted on time. I'm proud of reaching that goal, but I couldn't have done it w/out my mom's help & w/out the support & understanding of my wife, Gala & son, Douglas. Thank you so very much for understanding my passion for this project. Thank you so much to everyone else who read every single strip, or several strips or even just one strip. & for all the comments & likes. The encouragement really means a lot & I appreciate your time spent checking out my story. Thank you to Woody Valiant for inspiring the title for this series when he showed up for a trip to Metropolis, IL in his Super Hippie costume w/a sign that read 'Metropolis or Bust!' Thank you to everyone who joined this large cast of colorful characters that starred in this comic strip series. Thanks for joining the fun! I'll no doubt use many of these characters again in other ways in other projects, but as far as Boogieland or Bust, that has now come full circle. I'm happy w/how it ended/continues & I'm proud of it as a body of work & just a fun story that I was fortunate enough to be able to tell. I hope you all enjoyed it & will keep enjoying it anytime you come back to read a strip or two. Thank you, thank you, thank you all so much! It's been a real blast! Take care. (TTD) Heard one of my favorite Christmas songs today. The Twelve Days of Christmas. Any time I try to sing it w/my family I can never remember the correct order, so it ends up getting messed up along the way. That's okay though, because it just makes it more fun that way! We always have a blast singing it! Christmas time is definitely here! So yeah, as far as my The Jimmy Valiants fantasy football team goes, we are officially eliminated from even the consolation playoffs. Previous versions of The Jimmy Valiants have fared much better, but I guess it just wasn't my season. Oh well, there's still the Fantasy Playoff Challenge thing if I decide to do it, so The Jimmy Valiants could rise again very soon! Be back this Monday for a very, very special & historic Boogieland comic strip! If you've been a fan of the Boogieland comic strip at any point in its soon to be 9 year history, you certainly don't want to miss this one! Thanks for reading! I highly recommend a visit to the real Boogieland in person this Sunday or any Sunday, from 12 noon to 4pm. Admission is free! Click HERE for more info. Take care.
(TFH) Had a nice, long Thanksgiving Break, but now I am back to work. Looking forward to seeing my awesome co-workers again. Definitely in full Christmas spirit mode as the season is finally officially here! By now you've probably noticed the initials at the beginning of the most recent blurbs. They do all stand for something, but if you happen to figure out what they stand for, you still have to figure out what that means. All will be revealed very, very shortly! Stay tuned! Thanks for reading! I highly recommend a visit to the real Boogieland in person this Sunday or any Sunday, from 12 noon to 4pm. Admission is free! Click HERE for more info. Take care.
