Boogieland or Bust! #605 - In The Eye, pt. 1

I'm extremely fortunate & very thankful that so many real life BWC Family members have asked to be included in the Boogieland comic strip. There are so many great, unique, interesting characters at BWC & I always appreciate the chance to work them into the story. It's a real honor to have not one but two BWC Family members joining the Boogieland fun in today's strip! Welcome & a big thanks to Thunder Sam Justice & Referee Alex! The Tomato Festival was a complete success! I was really glad my wife Gala & son Douglas were able to make the trip to share it w/me. It was really nice seeing several BWC Family members including of course Boogie, Angel & their granddaughter Gracie. It was also nice to see Tom Angleberger & his family again. Tom is the author of the Origami Yoda series as well as several other books. I think Douglas' favorite part was when we happened upon a pool table. That's all he wanted to do the rest of the time. Guess he's really becoming a pool shark! Can't wait for next year! Another big event in Shawsville, VA that is coming very soon is the big BWC Graduation Ceremony which takes place on Sunday, Sept. 11th from 12 noon to 4pm at Boogie's Wrestling Camp. Boogieland or Bust! #603 - The Coming of Attaxus, pt. 6

Today marks the 11th anniversary of the greatest day of my life! That was the day my son, Douglas, was born. Douglas is such a blessing to his mother & I. It's an honor & a joy to be his dad. It's hard to believe 11 years have passed since he was born, but I guess time really does fly when you're having fun. We certainly have had lots of fun together in these first eleven years. I'm so proud of Douglas for all that he has accomplished & I can't wait to see what his future holds. I know he will do great things & I'm sure he will continue to be an awesome person! It's really hard to believe my son, Douglas, started Middle School yesterday. Time sure flies! His Mom & I are very proud of him for doing such an amazing job in school all these years & we know he is going to continue to work just as hard as he starts this new chapter in his education. Way to go Douglas! Speaking of eduation, the annual BWC Graduation is almost here! Come out to Shawsville, VA on Sunday, Sept. 11th, from Noon to 4pm to experience the special graduation ceremonies as another class of BWC students graduate into the world of pro wrestling! Boogieland or Bust! #601 - The Coming of Attaxus, pt. 4

The very first pro wrestler I ever met was the Iron Sheik. He was at a wrestling show at the local baseball stadium w/the second pro wrestler I ever met, Ricky Morton of the legendary Rock N Roll Express tag team. Several years later, on the very first road trip I ever went on w/Boogie, I was fortunate enough to get to see Ricky Morton again. Through the years I've crossed paths w/Rock N Roll Ricky Morton several times, but I had never once met Robert Gibson. Fortunately that changed yesterday when the complete Rock N Roll Express team paid a visit to Boogie's Wrestling Camp. It was an honor to have such a successful, historic tag team join us at BWC! Later that day, my son Douglas & I got to watch the Rock N Roll Express wrestle live, which was pretty cool because I loved watching them on TV when I was about his age. After meeting the RNR Express, Douglas humorously pointed out that he was the first of us to meet both members of the team since he was in front of me when we went up to meet them. Welcome to the milestone 600th Boogieland or Bust comic strip! Every single strip has been an honor, every single storyline has been a blast to work on. I can't state enough how cool it is for me to be able to do a twice weekly comic strip about one of my favorite places to go in the world, Boogie's Wrestling Camp! I've followed my childhood hero Jimmy Valiant's wrestling adventures for many years, so it's extra awesome to be able to create new, comic strip adventures for him, Angel, Magnet Man & all of the BWC Family. Thank you so much to Boogie & Angel for allowing me the opportunity to do this comic strip & special thanks as well to every one of the BWC Family that has appeared in the Boogieland comic universe! If you haven't joined the fun yet, just let me know you want to be in the comic & I will make it happen for you. Today is a very special day for me! It is the 16th anniversary of one of the greatest moments of my life! My wedding day. Happy 16th Anniversary to my beautiful wife Gala! I'm so thankful that she shares her life w/me. It is an honor to be her husband. I will never forget how lovely she was on our wedding day. She is more beautiful today than ever & I'm so happy to spend the rest of my life w/her! It's hard to believe 16 years have already passed. I'm looking forward to the next 16 & beyond! The New River Valley Fair was a complete success! It was a great day spending time w/Boogie, Capt. Joe & several members of the BWC Family & a great night of wrestling action! Can't wait for next year! My son Douglas asked me to invite everyone to check out his new gaming channel on YouTube called OBJMangaming. I'm very proud of Douglas for always putting forth his best effort & working very hard to make his dreams a reality. This new YouTube channel is just the latest example.
