Happy Thanksgiving! I love this holiday! I have so many things to be thankful for that I can't possibly list them all here, but just for starters, I'm thankful for my wife Gala & my son Douglas, my mom Faye, my brother Mike & my sister Vicky. I'm thankful for all of my family members & friends. I'm thankful for Boogie & Angel & my BWC family. I'm thankful for the opportunity to run Boogie's website & for the pleasure of bringing you this comic strip every Monday & Thursday. Thank you so much for reading! Well, I've now had a week to get used to being 40. Not bad. Certainly could be worse! I'm enjoying celebrating this Thanksgiving season w/the special Thanksgiving themed storyline. Plenty more to come between now & the big Turkey Day! I'm also looking forward to Dec. 1st when my friend Nic Carcieri will be bringing his film crew to BWC to shoot some footage for his new full-length movie project, American Luchador! My 40th birthday was this past Thursday, but I continued the celebration yesterday as I kept my years long tradition of celebrating my birthday w/a trip to one of my favorite places in the world, Boogie's Wrestling Camp! A big, heartfelt thank you to Boogie & Angel & all of my BWC Family for all the birthday wishes at camp yesterday. & a special thank you to my wife Gala for baking some delicious cookies in honor of my big day. I hope that everyone enjoyed them. I was hoping to get the last cookie, but as you can see in the picture below, my hopes were dashed when Boogie crept up like a thief in the night & claimed the prize! Oh well. Today is a very special milestone for me. Forty years of my life are now in the books. I can't say that I don't have any regrets, but I can say that I'm overall very happy w/the adventure my life has been for the last four decades. I'm very thankful for all the wonderful people who have shared a part of my life along the way. Especially my wife Gala for the past 20 years & my son Douglas for the last 8 years. Life just keeps getting better & better. I'm looking forward to seeing where the next 40 years take me. Thank you to everyone who has joined me in some way on this awesome journey! It is a thrill for me to be able to celebrate my birthday by posting the new installment of my official Jimmy Valiant web comic! Now I think I'll eat some cake, open some presents & buy a Corvette! Happy Veterans Day! Thank you to all of our veterans for your service to our country! This past weekend was a great one for me. Starting it off on Friday, I celebrated the 10th anniversary of the day I met Jimmy Valiant for the first time. Then, on Sat. I went to the annual ACW Night of Legends show & watched my two favorite wrestlers, Jimmy Valiant & Rick Kelly, do battle in the ring! Then, just yesterday, I got to watch my son Douglas complete a victorious 8-0 undefeated season of tennis. I'm very proud of Douglas for always trying his best & being a good sport. Sounds like JCW could stand to learn some lessons about being a good sport after his actions in the battle royal so far. Be back this Thursday, Nov. 14th, to see what he has in mind for Rick Kelly & Kyle Styles in the next Boogieland or Bust adventure. Special thanks to Bob, Tara, Thom & the entire Fox 21/27 Morning Show crew for a wonderful three day feature on Boogie's Wrestling Camp! My day started off great today as I got to see the wonderful feature on Jimmy Valiant that aired locally on the Fox 21/27 Morning Show. If you are local to the Central Virginia area I hope you were able to see it as well. Two other BWC themed segments will be airing on the show tomorrow & Wednesday, so be sure to tune in during the 8am hour! Special thanks to BWC Champion Dangerous Darrell for joining the fun in Boogieland! It's great to have you as part of the comic! The Champ is here just in time for the start of the big Thanksgiving storyline!
