 It was a nice, more or less relaxing weekend. It all started w/breakfast w/my beautiful wife, Gala. Then a visit w/Boogie & the BWC Boys at County Line Cafe & Mini-Mall, so that's always a blast. Then fast food & a movie w/my boy, Douglas. Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. Not as good as the original in my opinion, but it was Douglas' first time seeing it, so now we're both ready for the sequel!  Magnet Man tries hard to make a Run-DMC reference, but ends up referencing The Fat Boys, Kool Moe Dee, LL Cool J & even technically, Tiffany. Totally stuck in the 80s!  Two things I enjoyed quite a bit in the 80s were Run-DMC & Jimmy Valiant. So it was super cool when I met DMC aka Darryl McDonalds at a comic show a few years back & he saw my Boogie shirt & told me he was a big Jimmy Valiant fan also. The Run-DMC reference last strip was a little on the subtle side, but I just kind of went for it in today's strip. Oh, & it's McDaniels, not McDonalds.  Today is the day! One of the biggest pro wrestling events of the year, The Valiant Cup Battle Royal, will be held today, Sat. 5/11, at the Pelham Community Center in Pelham, NC at 7:30pm! Big thanks to Pure Pro Wrestling for hosting the event! Then, then next day, Sun. 5/12, at Boogie's Wrestling Camp, in Shawsville, VA it will be another huge battle royal for the Parker Cup!  Went to Douglas' lacrosse game this evening. Douglas & his teammates did a great job. It was very nice of our friends Duncan & Rebecca to come out & support Douglas in his athletic endeavors.
