Don't miss wrestling history as this year's Valiant Cup winner will be crowned, plus other great wrestling action! Then, on Sunday, at BWC in Shawsville, VA, from Noon to 4pm it will be Parker Cup Sunday & a new winner of the prestigious Parker Cup will be determined in another epic battle royal! Magnet Man here! I hope you had a great weekend! Lil M & me really had fun at the NRV Con in Blacksburg, VA this past Sat. It was an honor to be included on the guest list w/so many talented artists, writers, craftspeople, etc. It was so nice seeing familiar faces from last year's NRV Con as well as other shows. Meeting brand new friends is one of the best parts of setting up at a comic show & this year was no exception. Special thank you to everyone who stopped by the table & supported our creative efforts. Lil' M really did a great job selling his comics as always. He completely sold out of his new SLASH: Super Lacrosse Hero comic! I can't wait to read the next issue of that one! Big, big, heartfelt thanks to all the hardworking NRV Staff for putting together such a cool, amazing show. We can't wait for next year! We continued the fun weekend on Sunday w/a trip to one of my favorite places in the whole world, BWC of course! I can hardly wait to head back to camp this Sunday for the big Parker Cup Battle Royal! & don't forget the Valiant Cup the night before on a historic Saturday night in Elkin, VA. Last year Noah Lawrence did the unbelievable by eliminating the biggest wrestler in the ring, Mike Mars. Who knows what exciting, breathtaking, unforgettable moments will take place this year! Congrats to the UNC Tarheels for winning the NCAA Championship! Mid-Atlantic represent! Plus that's Moviestar's favorite team so congrats Movie! My The Jimmy Valiants bracket finished at a respectable 79% of all brackets. Out of the millions that were filled out, mine finished at 386,266th place! Not too shabby all things considered! What's even better than that, Douglas & I filled out a bracket together called Wheeled Warriors. We correctly picked UNC as the champs & finished in the 99th percentile. We placed 19,526th out of the millions of brackets filled out in the challenge! Wheeled Warriors rock! Another example of father & son teams working well together! So, as far as I can remember, this is the latest I've ever posted one of the Boogieland strips. But, I'm very proud to say it is still on time for Monday & so my streak of not missing a single Monday or Thursday continues. I might miss a deadline one day sooner or later, but I'm glad today wasn't that day. If I took any more time to explain why I'm so late I might not make it up in time, but suffice it to say it was a crazy day! Mostly in a very good way!
