It was a great day yesterday for a trip to the lake & I had a wonderful, relaxing time doing just that w/my family. My wife Gala was off from work, which made it feel like a Saturday, until of course reality checked in & I had to go to work that night. Oh well, it was sure fun while it lasted! I kind of doubt I will live long enough to see Magnet Man's 75th Anniversary, which would be 01-02-77, but it would be cool if he's still being used as a character in some capacity. It's finally here! Jimmy Valiant's long awaited 'This Is It' 2 disc DVD set is now available for sale at any Boogie appearance, every Sunday at camp & right here on this very website. I picked up my copy at Happy's in Roanoke, VA this past Sat. & before the day was over I had finished both discs! What a great tribute to a great wrestling career & a great man. Hello again! I hope you had a nice weekend. I had an amazingly fun weekend w/my family. First on Friday, my son Douglas, my wife Gala & my niece Lacey went to a Moonlight Swim at the pool. Then the three of us were joined on Sat. by my nephew Scottie, my brother Mike & his wife Stacy for an adventure at the Salem Fair. Then on Sunday, Douglas & I went to Family Fest at a local park & met NFL running back Rashad Jennings. Monday is starting off pretty cool also because I get to post this new Boogieland comic. After this it's off to another tennis clinic for Douglas, followed by lunch w/my Mom. Sounds like more great times ahead! Speaking of which, be back this Thursday, July 17th for more Boogieland fun! Yesterday was a very important day in the history of pop culture. It was the anniversary of the theatrical release of one of my all time favorite movies... Tron! Maybe someday people will celebrate the anniversary of a live action Boogieland or Bust feature film. That would be cool! I'm happy to report that the 1st ever BWC Car Wash was a great success! Thank you to everyone who came out & put in some hard work to lend a hand.
