A warm welcome back for today's Boogieland comic strip to Boogie's son, Handsome Jimmy! Just in time to celebrate the Father & Son Super Fun Day!So I mentioned last time that I would have a big announcement today & here it is! This October, for one month only, the Boogieland or Bust comic strip will be going DAILY! Every year around this time, I have the annual Halloween themed storyline. It was so massive this year, that the only possible option was to do a comic strip every day of the month of October, starting Oct. 1st & going all the way through Halloween Day on Oct. 31st! This daily storyline will be an experiment & I welcome you, the loyal readers, to chime in w/your thoughts on the daily strip schedule vs. the standard twice a week. Either way the plan is to go back to Mon. & Thurs. after the daily experiment in Oct., but if I like it well enough & you do too, it could potentially become a thing somewhere down the road. For now, buckle up, & get ready for a new Boogieland comic every single day in the month of October! It's gonna be great! See you this Monday, Oct. 1st as the extra special storyline begins! I've always wanted to watch Lucha Underground, but I don't have El Rey Network. Thankfully, I have Netflix now & I've been enjoying watching classic Lucha Underground episodes very much! Welcome back to the Boogieland comic strip to my real life BWC brother Mikey Valiant. A Valiant Family reunion wouldn't have been complete w/out him! It was great seeing Boogie & Capt. Joe on Sat. at County Line Mini-Mall & Cafe! Always a pleasure to spend the day w/the BWC Family. Capt. Joe & Boogie are a ton of fun to be around! What a great manager/wrestler combo! I'm happy to report that BWC Graduation 2018 was a complete success & an absolute blast! There was a standing room only crowd on hand to witness wrestling history in the making as a new class of BWC Graduates received their hard-earned & well deserved degrees. It was an extra special graduation ceremony for me as my mom Faye & my late grandfather Atwill were both awarded special honorary degrees. I, like so many other wrestling fans, have such fond memories of watching wrestling w/my grandfather. He would be happy to know that he was honored in such a special way by one of the very wrestlers we used to watch every Saturday on television. W/out my mom, Faye, helping me get this Boogie Jam website going, it may never have existed. I officially took over the reigns a long time ago as the sole webmaster of this site, but Mom is still there to offer tech support & help w/this site whenever I need it. Plus she is an amazing mom! It was also very special to be on hand to witness the first ever Noah Lawrence Memorial Cup Tournament. Congrats to Bellamy Coga for being the inaugural winner & also for being named BWC Instructor. Congrats also to new BWC Instructor Nightmare & to Elite Award winner Mike Mars. Congrats to all the grads! Thanks for reading today's comic strip! Be back this Thursday for more! BWC Graduation is like a BWC Family Reunion.
