BWC SPOTLIGHT

JANICE COFFMAN
Meet Janice Coffman. Not only is she the elite photographer for B.W.C. but she is also a mom, a school bus driver, a loving wife to her husband Mike, and a best friend to my wife and I. Far too often in life, we all get caught up in the same ole, same ole mentality but not Janice.
When I met Janice for the first time, my wife and I were invited to Elkin, NC., by the “Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant and I was to take pictures of some of his wrestler’s; little did I know, my wife Sharon and I were privileged enough to meet Janice. I remember when I first saw her; she was wearing her official BWC photography jacket. Jimmy introduced us and the rest, as they say, is history.
Sharon and I talked to Janice and we found out that, not only did she do photography for BWC; she also was the mother of a young, talented wrestler known as J. D. “The Run-Away-Train” Mustang. As we talked, we also found out that Sharon and I lived about four blocks from her and her family.
Janice just has a warm smile, award winning personality and she loves BWC. Sharon and I discovered that Janice is so in tuned to BWC that she does more than pictures, she is a traveling super fan and her devotion to BWC is astounding to say the least. She is committed and thoroughly enjoys the camp and believes in what it stands for. She has been a photographer for BWC since January 2009.
Janice is one of the reasons why I decided to become an announcer and manger and I have already started my training. Janice is shining example of dedication and commitment and her “can-do” attitude is something that we all should pay attention too.
Here is a lady that, not only is committed to BWC, but to her family and her job. Janice, I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you do. Sharon and I are proud to say that you’re one of our best friends.
