The Super Bowl is almost here! If you hate football, then you are in luck because the season is almost over. If you love football, then it is almost time for the biggest game of the year! Well, in the NFL at least! Plus all the cool commercials! If you are having a Super Bowl party I hope it is a blast! & let's not forget about the Pro Bowl which is also fun to watch. Well, the snow is beginning to melt out this way, but still not nearly back to normal. I got Gala's car shoveled out so she can go to work in the morning, but Douglas's school will remain closed for another day. I'm looking forward to a fun snow day w/him. One fun thing we can do together is read today's comic strip! I hope you've enjoyed it to. Well, the snow has already started in my neck of the woods. If you are in an area expecting a little or a lot of snow, then please be safe & stay warm. & maybe even have fun building a snowman or having a nice snowball fight! The snow can certainly look pretty, but I am personally not a fan of all the negative aspects of it. Well, I didn't hit the Power Ball jackpot last night, so I will have to hold off for a while on my plan for an official Boogieland or Bust hot air balloon. Oh well, I can still dream. Basketball season is here again! I'm off to Douglas' first basketball practice of the season. He's already been practicing w/his school team, but this will be his first practice for the league he is playing in. He definitely stays busy! Go Hornets! Go Douglas!
