Wow! So here we are. 400 Boogieland comic strips. 400 fun adventures w/my BWC Family in comic strip form! It is a great accomplishment that I am very proud of & thankful for. Believe it or not, over 50 real life Boogieland Family members have taken part in the fun & received the comic strip treatment during the course of this strip so far & I thank each & every one of you from the bottom of my heart! I couldn't have done it w/out you! We did it people! The most recent real life characters, appearing in this very strip, are Shady & Kayden Pheonix. Shady, who is a popular DJ in addition to holding many wrestling titles, expressed interest in joining the fun when I met him at a Boogie appearance/private party in Altavista, VA. You'll have to ask him about the tongs reference yourself. Kayden is a former BWF Heavyweight Champion who I have had the privilege of making many great wrestling road trips w/but he still scares me a little, er, a lot! Thanks guys for being a part of the first 400! A big thank you to Mike Mars for contributing the beautiful piece of artwork you see above to commemorate this cool milestone. I love how he made it a 'bust' to reflect the name of the strip. Nice touch Mike! Keep up the awesome work! I'm expecting to see you on the shelves of comic shops everywhere & in the rings of the top wrestling companies in the world any time now! A very special thank you to my mom Faye for reading every Boogieland strip from day one & frequently leaving comments. Not to mention everything else you have done for me in my life! Thanks Mom!
