Angel & Angie's Annual Christmas Candy was a big hit & a complete success yesderday at camp! Douglas & I had a very festive time eating the delicious goodies & spending time w/our BWC Family. It was a very special part of our Christmas celebration this year. Check out the cool photo below of Douglas & I w/Boogie, Angel & the star of the show... that yummy Christmas candy! Wow! Christmas is less than a week away & I'm not done my Christmas shopping or my Christmas storyline! Fear not though, I'll be finished w/both before Christmas morning! I hope you are getting everything done & most importantly enjoying the season! Christmas will come very soon in the real world, but will it have to be cancelled in the Boogieland comic? This past Saturday we had a Christmas get together for my wife Gala's side of the family. The weather almost caused us to have to cancel, but it held off just enough & we all had a wonderful, festive time of holiday fellowship! It was fun seeing all the kids running around playing & enjoying the season. This Saturday we will celebrate w/my side of the family, so I hope the weather cooperates again. At least we don't have to contend w/reindeer rustlers! Be back this Thursday, Dec. 19th to see what heppens next in the Cowboy Christmas storyline! As I type this, I am watching the lights blink on the Christmas tree that my son Douglas, my wife Gala & I put up the other day. Some of the ornaments on our tree today were hanging on my tree as a child in the same living room where I would watch Jimmy Valiant wrestle every week on TV. Now I am doing a comic strip featuring Boogie & the BWC gang! Pretty cool how life works out sometimes! Thanks so much to Boogie for making that dream come true for me! The WWE is celebrating a long 50 year history & they've recently released a documentary on DVD & blu ray to commemorate the impressive milestone. There have been so many wrestlers who were part of WWE throughout the years, so it would be virtually impossible to include them all. I'm glad to see that they gave my friend Handsome Jimmy his rightful place in the celebration. I enjoyed watching his footage on the DVD yesterday. I'm also honored to be able to include this WWE Hall of Famer in my Boogieland comic every Monday & Thursday. Thanks Boogie! & a special thanks to BWC Family members Jesse James & Annie Oakley for joining the Boogieland fun! Great to have you in the comic!
