Had a fun time watching Elimination Chamber yesterday watching Elimination Chamber. We made a party out of it & had lots of good party food & desserts. Not all the matches turned out like I would have liked, but it is what it is I guess. Looking forward to Wrestlemania & hoping to catch some good local wrestling shows between now & then too. My wife, Gala, got me a Fitbit not long ago. Finally got it all set up & started wearing it. So far so good. It's very useful for tracking exercise & calories. Just got home from a short & sweet visit w/my brothers Boogie, Capt. Joe & Woody V. at the County Line Cafe & Mini-Mall. Now I'm headed right back out the door for work. I'm certainly of the thought that we should celebrate love every day & always keep it in our hearts all year long, but at the same time, I think it's great that there is a day set aside when we can spend extra time focusing on love & how wonderful it can be & thinking of all of our loved ones. Congrats to Douglas & his Griffins teammates for getting a big win in the final basketball game of the season. Douglas did a great job scoring, rebounding, passing, etc. After the team got a decent lead. the players who don't get to play as much got to see extra playing time & really rose to the occasion by playing very well. What impressed me more than anything Douglas did on the court, was watching how happy it made him to see his teammates get a chance to shine. He cheered them on as they played & congratulated them as they came off the court. He is a good teammate & a fine young man. I'm very proud of him. Next up is lacrosse, so that should be fun to watch as well! Be back tomorrow for a Valentine's Day treat as there will be not only one, but two Valentine's Day themed Boogieland strips that continue right along in the Winter's Almost Gone storyline! Today is Douglas' last basketball game of the season. He & his teammates have worked hard & done a great job all season.
