Enjoyed watching the NFL Draft w/my son, Douglas. We also watched a little bit of Smackdown on Friday. & we've been enjoying The Big Show Show on Netflix. It was a rainy weekend so much chance to do a lot outside. Was able to cut the grass before the downpour started though, so that was nice. Be back this Monday for the next Boogieland Below strip! Thanks for reading! Take care!
Had a lot of fun celebrating Superman's Birthday the other day. It was the anniversary of Action Comics #1, which of course is the first appearance of Superman. To commemorate the special day, I read an issue of Action Comics, wore a Superman t-shirt & watched some footage from both live action & cartoon Superman shows. Douglas & I played basketball that day & instead of playing HORSE, we played SUPERMAN. We also played 'Around The World' which we figured would be appropriate to the day for obvious reasons. It really brought back fond memories of a trip I took w/Boogie & Woody Valiant to Metropolis, IL for the annual Superman Celebration. That trip was a wonderful adventure that I'll never forget! I hope you enjoyed your weekend & I hope you have a nice week. Be back next Monday for more Boogieland Below! Thanks for reading! Take care.
Had a wonderful Easter w/my family yesterday. It was really nice. I'm officially off from work today & so is Gala. Douglas is on Easter Break, so the holiday continues for us. & it continues in this storyline too! Be back next Monday to see where we go from here. Have an awesome week! Thanks for reading! Take care.
Had a lot of fun watching Wrestlemania w/Douglas both Sat. & Sun. night this weekend. Some matches I admittedly liked more than others. I know the Undertaker/AJ Styles match was polarizing for those who watched it, but I like both wrestlers & I think they did a great job w/it. It was very entertaining. The Edge/Randy Orton match stole the show in my opinion. The show certainly was a lot different than usual, for obvious reasons, but we knew that going in. I was thankful that WWE decided to let the show go on instead of cancelling it. It was nice for Douglas & me to keep our tradition of watching it, but we did miss our Wrestlemania watching buddy, Moviestar. Hopefully Wrestlemania will be back to normal next year. I hope you have a nice Easter. Be back the day after, on Monday, 4/13, as this storyline continues! Thanks for reading! Take care.
