Super Bowl Sunday is less than a week away! My Broncos aren't in it so I don't really have a team to cheer for, but I'll be cheering for the 49ers because their coach is the son of my favorite Broncos coach, Mike Shanahan. Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! Today is also Marvel Day at my work, so Happy Marvel Day too! Last week I mentioned the Memphis Legends tribute that was going to be featured on AEW Dark episode 15. I'm happy to report they did an amazing job! They not only showed the full ceremony w/all the legends in the ring, they also had Dave Brown on commentary for all the matches & they even made mention of the many kisses Boogie gave Tony Schiavone back in the day during his interviews! Jimmy Valiant & his fellow Memphis Legends were recently honored by AEW prior to the taping of their AEW Dynamite & AEW Dark wrestling shows. It was nice seeing Handsome Jimmy & his Memphis brothers in the ring during the quick recap shown on Dynamite. This is the first comic strip I've published since my mother-in-law, Joanne Shelburne, passed away. The last comic I gave her was on Christmas Day. It was my Christmas special for the year. She read it in front of me & told me she enjoyed it. She always enjoyed reading the comics I gave her at Christmas & other special occasions. She was always supportive of my creative endeavors.
