After having to postpone her guest gig by a week due to an unavoidable scheduling conflict, Babydoll proved that she was well worth the wait as she joined Boogie & the gang for week 12 of Main Event Thursday. Topics of discussion included the first time she met Jimmy Valiant & what she thought of his outfit, the possibility of her daughter continuing in the family business, the cage match she wrestled in at the Great American Bash, love at first sight, Austin-Hall cowboy boots, her current favorite stars in the independent wrestling scene, keeping in touch w/Tully & Dusty & much more. She also gave the info on her official MySpace & Facebook sites. Angel announced Boogie's upcoming appearance dates including this year's BWC Graduation on Sunday, September 12th from 12-4pm. Boogie announced next week's guest as ECW star CW Anderson! This week's Main Event will actually take place a day early on Wednesday, August 25th, from 5pm-6pm, so be sure not to miss it. & be sure to call 1-888-639-4900 to ask

With Boogie & Angel heading to Charlotte, NC for the big NWA Legends Wrestling Fanfest, this week's Main Event Thursday was a rebroadcast of the show from a few weeks back which featured WWE Hall of Famer Cowboy Bob Orton. I enjoyed getting another chance to hear this show & was just as entertained as I was the first time around. Every show this season has been great & I can't wait until Boogie, Angel & company return live to the airwaves this coming Thursday, August 12th to welcome legendary valet "The Perfect Ten" Baby Doll to the show. Boogie, Angel, Big Dog & Jamie welcomed 'Nature Boy' Buddy Landel to the program this week. The phone lines seemed to be jammed even more than usual & the questions for Landel just kept coming. If you tuned into the show this week you were treated to great stories from Buddy about such varied topics as pitching a song to Bobby Bare, taking over Memphis Wrestling television w/the Bill & Buddy Show, perfecting his corkscrew elbow drop finisher, wrestling Ric Flair, how his faith in Jesus provided his greatest wrestling memory, his reasons for moving to Virginia, how his wife helped him in his wrestling career & so much more. There was even an unexpected surprise as a fellow NWA wrestling star & former tag team champion called in to chat w/Boogie & Buddy. This one is sure to go down in Main Event Thursday history as a classic! Angel informed us of Boogie's upcoming appearances including next week's big NWA Wrestling Legends Fanfest in Charlotte, NC. With Boogie at the big Legends event next week, the program for this coming Thursday, August 5th will feature an encore presentation of the Cowboy Bob Orton show. If you didn't catch that particular installment the first time around, this is your chance to hear what you missed. If you heard it before, I know you will definately want to tune in again to hear it one more time.
