Yesterday, the world lost a manager of champions & a true champion himself, Sir Oliver Humperdink. Some of my earliest memories of Jimmy Valiant include his classic feud with Sir Oliver & his House of Humperdink. While they may have been on opposite sides of the wrestling ring, I know by reading the nice things Boogie says about Humperdink in his book that the two became close friends. Humperdink had such a great, unique look w/the long red hair & red beard & those cool sunglasses. I was happy when he became a good guy because it meant I could finally cheer for him! He will be missed and fondly remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are w/ his loved ones during this difficult time of loss. God bless the House of Humperdink!

I spend way too much time on YouTube. The vast majority of that time is spent watching Jimmy Valiant footage. I've seen every single Jimmy Valiant related video currently on YouTube at least once & some I have watched over & over. Like I said, I spend way too much time on there, but it is certainly time well spent! Not all that long ago, a routine search for new Boogie footage came back w/a special sneak peek from an in the works documentary by Michael Elliott. Since then Mr. Elliott has posted several more sneak peeks featuring several wrestling legends who played a part in Valiant's historic career. This Sunday, March 13th, Michael & his film crew come to BWC itself to get even more footage for the big project. I personally can't wait to be a part of this special event. I'm looking forward to helping out in any way I can as I watch the project come together from behind the scenes. I highly recommend making the trip this Sunday for the documentary filming & to experience everything that BWC has to offer each & every week on Sunday from 12 noon to 4pm. Hope to see you there! |
